6 steps to selling on PromptGalaxi

01

Choose a specific use case

The most successful sellers focus on specific, practical use cases. A prompt for "generate persuasive e-commerce product descriptions for skincare brands" will outsell a generic "copywriting prompt" every time.

  • Pick one specific task, audience, or output format
  • Check what's already selling on the marketplace before creating
  • Identify gaps — use cases that aren't well covered yet
02

Write and test your prompt thoroughly

Before listing, test your prompt extensively with different inputs. Make sure it consistently delivers the described result. Edge cases and failure modes should inform your description.

  • Test with 10+ different inputs to confirm consistency
  • Note which inputs work best and include that in the description
  • Test in all AI tools you plan to list as compatible
03

Write a clear, honest description

Your listing description is your sales pitch AND your contract with the buyer. Be specific about what the prompt does, what inputs it needs, and what results to expect.

  • Lead with what the prompt does and for whom
  • Specify compatible AI models (and which version, if relevant)
  • Include at least 2–3 example outputs with different inputs
  • Mention any limitations honestly — it builds trust
04

Price strategically

Research similar prompts before pricing. A well-described prompt for a high-value use case can command $15–$50+. A simple utility prompt may be better priced at $3–$10 for volume.

  • Check what comparable listings charge
  • Higher complexity + higher value use case = higher price
  • Consider a lower entry price initially to build reviews
05

Pass our quality review

All listings are reviewed before going live. Listings are rejected for: inaccurate descriptions, missing example outputs, overly vague descriptions, or policy violations.

  • Read our Quality Guide before submitting
  • Include at least 2 real example outputs
  • Be specific about compatible AI tools and versions
06

Grow through reviews and visibility

Listings with more buyer reviews rank higher in search. Deliver what you promise, respond to buyer questions, and update your prompts when AI models change.

  • Respond promptly to buyer questions
  • Update listings when the underlying AI model is updated
  • Create a collection of related prompts to cross-sell
